Why follow the crowd when you can flip the path? We walk backwards to move forward differently.

Same path, flipped purpose.

We’re starting where most people finish, turning the Portuguese Camino around to give it new meaning. Backwards isn’t wrong. It’s brave. Walking this way helps us notice things we might otherwise miss. We look out for the unseen, from the way the light falls on the landscape to the unexpected gestures and conversations we share along the way with locals and other pilgrims.

We’re not lost. We’re choosing to see differently. Not chasing an ending, but opening ourselves to new questions, new connections, and discoveries. We walk the Camino like a question, not an answer, and in doing so, we find new purpose in our pilgrimage — personal, social, and in harmony with the world around us.

The trail

One trail, two callings.

For any explorer, the Camiñø is an invitation to set a new course and purposefully walk towards personal, social, and ecological connection, exploration, and discovery.

Joining our journey is a chance to learn how to guide with purpose, to dive into or lead experiences that inspire, and to deepen connections.

1.

Spend 12 days on the Portuguese Coastal Camino learning how to design experiences that inspire and bring people together. Through walking, reflection, networking, field research, and hands‑on practice, you’ll gain tools to create meaningful activities, trips, and group journeys.

This programme is about testing ideas in real time, learning from the Camino, and shaping them into tools you can use to create meaningful activities, trips, and group journeys. Along the way, you’ll set personal goals, stretch your creativity, and build the confidence to guide others with authenticity and purpose.

You finish not only with a certificate and personal triumph. You return with practical skills, a network of peers, and the courage to step forward as a facilitator who can turn any path into a place of support, purpose, connection, and discovery.

2.

The Camiñø experience is for young people aged between 18-25 who are ready to explore themselves, their communities, and the world they share. We dive into questions of personal wellbeing, belonging, and care for the environment. Friendships grow, perspectives shift, and the path itself becomes a road of discovering and exploring new paths - a journey that shapes how you see yourself and your place in the world.

The group experience is guided by self-curiosity, group support, and care. And members of our experienced Camiño Crew will be there full-time to follow along and facilitate the trip, ensuring a safe and supported journey for everyone.
